Born Mens Shoes: Crown Collection

Born mens shoes are wanted for the comfort they offer and for the elegant touch that makes any man feel like a fashion designer, or like a fashion fan. One of the most famous shoes collections from Born is the Crown Collection. From the most popular shoe of this collection, called Rafael, to the ugliest ones, which in my view are the Bail shoes, Crown offered me the chance to dress up like a real macho, and from time to time to manage look like a real businessman, in my business meetings. Of course I still keep my cheap knee high boots, but those are only for my casual outfits.

Amongst the most famous Born Crown shoes there are the following:

Born Crown Montgomery

These shoes belong to the Born signature Crown series, and they are available in three colors: tan, black and dark brown. They are handsome, mainly thanks to the antiqued leather, the double gore and the leather lining. Their opanka hand-sewn construction makes them extremely durable and waterproof. They cost $153 (on the official Born Shoes website) and they can fit casual outfits as well as business suits. I’d call them Shoes with a Purpose, as they can attract looks naturally.

Born Crown Columbus

Also available in tan, black and dark brown, the Columbus shoes from the crown series have a moccasin toe, leather lining and steel shank. They are made of vegetable or suede leather and their price is $104. They are appropriate for casual wear.

Born Crown Spartan

These shoes feature the classic wingtip which you can either love or hate. The leawood wrapped heel looks very elegant and the vegetable leather is perfect and longlasting. These shoes are available in black and amber and they cost $165. Although they are not among my big favorites, they are a bit more expensive than the rest of the Crown collection.

Born Crown Rafael Loafers

Made out of premium vegetable leather and available in two colors: amber and black, the Rafael loafers are so refined that they can fit smart casual clothing and even elegant outfits.
